Went down to La Jolla's Fingerhut Gallery last night for an evening with amazingly passionate artist, Mackenzie Thorpe. His work is absolutely gorgeous, incredibly emotional and touching. Several of his pieces caused tears to well up in my eyes--just SO conveying the feelings of loneliness that we all feel at the "crossroads" of life.The top piece is "The Bringer" (quite possibly my favorite). The middle piece is "The Shepherd" ...what a contrast, huh? Many of them reflect images of the heart.
The smaller image is "Leaning on Love"...really admire that one.
