Allison and I went to Seattle for a few days over this past New Year's. In "1000 Places to See before you Die" we had read that the BEST view of the Pugent Sound was from the dock of 'Ray's Boathouse'--a restaurant about a half hour outside of the city--and, it strongly suggested, "come at sunset." We took a taxi out there and, as usual, the book was correct.The view was absolutely MAGNIFICENT!
