Kenya Imagine?

Yesterday was our "packing party/training" day for Kenya.
This is Lydia, the incredible woman who began Oasis of Hope.
Allison will work closely with Lydia while in Kitale.
Medicines and glasses and t shirts and school supplies are among the items we will be bringing to Kitale next month. Each of us is responsible for bringing one of the blue bins (in background) which were filled up with the items yesterday.
This is Ian...it will be his first time in Kenya as well...
Ken, one of the leaders of the group, is an optometrist.
One of the main focuses of this trip will be fitting and distributing eye glasses!
Allison and Steve Rutenbar...
Steve organizes and oversees all of Saddleback's PEACE trips.
Allison actually worked for a while as Steve's assistant at the office--
they have a GREAT (read:hilarious) friendship! This will be the FIFTH time she has been on one of Steve's trips to Kenya.
Oh yeah...Allison has received ALL the financial support that she needed to make this trip a reality. Thanks to all of you who are helping to make this happen for her!

I know what I need to do to get ready for the trip now...it's just five weeks away.
I don't need your financial support
...but I could sure use your prayers.
