...not your shoe size

Yesterday, as I told some folks that I was heading to Phoenix next month for Dodgers Spring Training, someone asked, "Do you ever think you'll act your age?"

Though I don't think he meant it maliciously, you know me. I am QUEEN of defensiveness. And that pissed me off.

I said, "Nope. Probably not. When I was 18, I was married. By the time I was 21, I had two kids.
I didn't get to act my age then...
I'm sure not going to act it now."

That scenario sounds oddly familiar! Tho I'm not going to Phoenix for Dodgers Spring Training, I often get asked if I'm going to act my age. Who says that at 30 I have to be a frumpy housewife?? :-)

My sister told me I wasn't allowed to have pink hair after 30. Still kinda mad about that. Cassi just did her tips pink and I highlighted mine-wish I had done pink, I'm feeling very mommy-ish in my new do. Why can't I have pink? I'm heading back to the salon gosh darnit!
