My Nana

Though we truly thought it could never really happen,
my Nana passed away last night.
She would have been 95 on October 15th.
I am actually amazed at how sad I feel...I know she had had a long, full life...I know that 95 is a fabulous, 'ripe' old age to live to! But to know that she is gone--that I can't stop by and visit anymore--is truly odd.
I no longer have grandparents.
So glad I always take too many pictures...

So, so weird...please hug and kiss everyone for me...but don't take any photos of the open casket...Grandpa in the casket was enough for me.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss! 95 is a good age though, that is how old my grandpa lived to.

So sorry to hear about your Nana...I was so close to my grandma and was SO sad when she died too. My grandfather is 97 1/2 !!! and going strong but I know he can't live forever so I am spending as much time as I can and taking way TOO many pictures!
Thinking of you......

Julie...
Thanks SO MUCH for taking such good care of her for the last few years. AND for taking too many pictures. I've looked at these pix of Nana for the past few days and I am very grateful for them.
Love you and wish I was there.
