Spent a BEAUTIFUL late afternoon and evening at the Angel game.
It was John Lackey bobble head night!
It was John Lackey bobble head night!
Met Dan, Stephen and Nic at El Torito for a little pre-game warm up beverage or two and then headed to the stadium...
We played a little "Name that Tune" with the iPod on the way up and back from the stadium. Nic ROCKS and AMAZINGLY chose "Golden Lady" by Stevie Wonder to try to stump us. He and I sang every word. NO ONE knows that song!! Yeah Nic!
(By the way, I sang "Stairway to Heaven" all the way home.)

It was one of those "absolutely perfect night for a game" kind of nights. The sun was out til past 8pm, the weather was just right, I had a beer in one hand and a hot dog in the other...
and friends all around.
(I must add that it was NOT a great night for the Angels...)

Oh my friends from the good ol' days

Our friend Dan used to work with us at Montage.
Now he is the Manager at Mozambique Restaurant in Laguna...
(it's such a FABULOUS place!)

Today was a PERFECT day.
Food, friends, fun.
Baseball, bobble heads and beer.

Life is beautiful.
