Though Allison and I have each traveled to many cities all over the world, neither one of us has ever been to Seattle...until today! We are leaving this afternoon to spend a few fun-filled days site-seeing, shopping and sleeping in Seattle.
We'll be checking out the Space needle, Pikes market and the flagship Starbucks AND Nordstrom stores!
Tomorrow night we have reservations at Ray's Boathouse which boasts the most beautiful view of the Pugent Sound...
On Friday, we'll be taking a ferry to Victoria, British Columbia for the day...
and we'll have dinner at Union Grill Cafe on New Year's Eve!
Other than that, I've packed five or six magazines, three new books and will be bringing my ipod and laptop...(too bad it's not baseball season, sure would be fun to see a Mariner's game!)
We are both really excited to experience the city we have heard so much about...
And, as with any vacation that Allison and I go on together, the main objective of the trip is to kick back, relax, de-stress,
and order something delicious from room service.
