This is the GORGEOUS view of Pugent Sound from "Ray's Boathouse", the ONLY Seattle Restaurant listed in the "1001 Places to see before you die" book. The view was only matched by our INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS dinner...we shared lightly fried calamari and a shrimp and crab salad and then Allison had prawns with mussels and calamari and I had the most AMAZING GIANT scallops with artichokes...oh, and a MAGNIFICENT chocolate souffle with chocolate mint ice cream!
OH YEAH...when we go on vacation...we go all out!
After dinner we headed for the Space Needle and went straight to the top! The view was BEAUTIFUL, clear and spectacular!
Seattle is fantastic...and this was only day one!
