We were on our way to the "Shuttle to Canada" at 7am this morning and it was pitch black outside! Did you know that the sun doesn't rise in Seattle during the winter until almost 9am? Perhaps the REAL reason for a Starbucks on every corner!
We arrived in Victoria, British Columbia around 11am--just in time for tea at the Empress Hotel...very pretty and quite the highlight of the day for me.

We made it back to Seattle to enjoy a FANTASTIC dinner at The Cheesecake Factory, right around the corner from our hotel. Have you tried the Macaroni and Cheese balls there? Oh MY! You must partake!
Big day tomorrow...we're going to a Spa for a massage and a facial and we'll probably take in a movie...and there is a Ruth Chris Restaurant across the street from our hotel... neither Allison nor I have ever experienced Ruth Chris and we are thinking it may be a perfect Saturday night dinner. Gosh we love being on vacation!
I promise--we are going to the gym first thing in the morning!
