(The new and improved) Mrs. Claus

I am scheduled to be "Mrs. Claus" at the Montage Family "Breakfast with Santa" this Sunday morning. I am really looking forward to being with the kids....I know it will be so fun...
The issue for me is that I really don't want to dress up like the "traditional" Mrs. Claus. I don't want to have white hair & a dorky hat and I don't want to wear padding and look like I weigh 200 pounds. I wanted to share with you a few of the options I have.
Let me know what you think.
These are both so old fashioned!
(Reminds me of the uniform I wore at Elmer's Restaurant!)
The hats are just atrocious!

This one (below) is a bit better...much more modern...the hat is cute and I love the belt!

I don't know if the one below qualifies as "Mrs. Claus"
...perhaps it's Santa's little helper...

My suggestion is that I be Santa's NEW wife.
The one he met on one of his trips to the OC.
She has long blond hair and wears a really cute little outfit.
How about this one??

What do YOU think Santa?

PS Of course I am kidding...I couldn't pull off those red thigh-highs if I had to! We have come to a compromise tho...I am wearing the red dress--no padding and will wear my hair up in a bun.
I am sure the kids will be happy...
...and Santa too...

the modern one FOR SURE! What time will this take place? Seriously, I want to bring Kelly! She would LOVE it especially since she believes some REALLY mixed up ideas about Santa:

1. He was killed by a 747!
2. He was caught kissing mommy!
3. Grandma got run over by his reindeer!

Poor Kelly and her distorted world!

I think Leesa has a Mrs. Claus outfit you can borrow. She wore it to Christmas morning once. I say go traditional. Don't make the little kids think Mrs. Claus is a hooker every other day of the year.

With your gorgeous smile No. 3 is my fave...
there'll be enough older men there with their hooker-looking young wives...

Just buy them all, wear them to work, and see which one your co-workers and guests like the best. like the top one....classic!

Your blogs are well written, enjoy the reading. As you are aware:
1. Mrs Claus is overweight
2. The outfit fits the tradition.
However, it's just a costume and a one time event. The first outfit is best and the other compromises you made with Montage are fine.

Have fun!!!
