It was FREEZING this morning! Don't believe me? On my way to work this morning (around 5:15 am) I heard a 'ping' sound in my car--similar to the sound I hear when I am low on gas.I looked at my dashboard and there was a SNOWFLAKE lit up on the display where the outside temperature reads! No kidding--it was 35 degrees!
I guess the snowflake appears as a warning that it is cold enough to snow. Obviously, there wasn't any snowfall in Laguna today...
but DANG was it cold!

No kidding. It's totally freezing. Today I put on Thatcher's jacket over my t-shirt and sweater. I looked like the kid on a Christmas Story.
Tell me about it...it has been getting down to 34 here at work. I hate it, but thankfully I'm going to day shift next month so it will be a little warmer for me.
OK...It bottomed out to 29 this morning. The lowest I've seen it here has been 24...and that's pretty much every February. I get to go home to a nice warm bed in a little over an hour...can't wait!
The winter before my family moved to California one day the temp got down to 55 below, and that's before the wind chill factor was invented...
now THAT'S what we called fur-reezing!
I still freeze here whenever it gets below 50...
