Allison and I met at the mall this afternoon and did some serious shopping. It was amazing. Gotta say it was one of the best days I have had in a while...
I bought some great new BLACK glasses, a couple of new sweaters, these awesome new jammies, a black blazer, a few unmentionables and a tank nightgown that says, "DESI(RED)". (Couldn't find a picture and, altho I am wearing it right now, I decided a photograph would not be necessary!)
Allison is the BEST to have around to tell me what looks good, bad, makes me look 60 or like I am trying to look 21. She tells the truth. Allison added a few shopping backs to our collection with a couple of pairs of jeans, a few Christmas gifts and a really cute new striped sweatshirt.
We finished the night off with dinner at the Nordstrom Cafe! Yummy! Tomato bisque soup and delicious salads...the perfect nightcap to a fantastic day at the mall.
As we rode up the escalator with our hands full of shopping bags, I said to Allison, "This is weird, I am really starting to enjoy shopping."
She said, "Well, it's totally fun when we are together..."
Maybe THAT'S what I like...

I LOVE Nordstrom's Cafe..and the soup. I wish I felt like shopping. Right now I am pretty content to stay home--which isn't usually like me. I want to find the good deals too!!
