As I opened my front door today...this beautiful guy was on his web across my doorway! Yep...he's still there. If you come over, I'll let you through the garage.
I just took the tape measure to him. He's almost exactly 3 inches. He's big and beautiful. He's not going to come live with me...only tarantculas get to come in the house!
That sucker looks nasty...you should find out what kind it is and have some anti-venom handy...or kill it...some people would have called 911... do you have banana plants in your front yard?

It looks to be the size of a fist. How big is it really? Thank you for leaving him outside and not buying a terrarium!
