Damn that Steve Garvey!! I was more a Ron Cey and Bill Buckner fan myself... Almost caught a Garvey homerun at the old Fulton County Stadium, this was late in the season when Garvey would only stay in for 1 at bat to rest up for the playoffs and still keep his consecutive game streak going. Hit a high drive to the left field bleachers, only me and one of those Professional Ball catchers within 100 feet of the ball. Of course I broke the wrong way, and got beat out by a guy who looked like George Burns...
