Persistently persevering

"As we drive along this road called life, occasionally a gal will find herself a little lost.
And when that happens, she has to let go of the coulda, shoulda, woulda,
buckle up and just keep going!"

Thirty three months of laser tattoo removal treatments...!
Yes, those are blisters on my back today, an excruciatingly painful reaction to my treatment this past Thursday. It was difficult to sleep last night, and honestly, it's hard to even sit here and watch the game. If you know me at all, you know I had two babies with no medicine whatsoever, have never called in sick one day in 35 years of working, and I pride myself in NEVER complaining about pain.

But this is killing me today.
I've been taking four Advil every four hours (all day), have gone through multiple ice packs, am wearing the softest of my soft, non-irritating jammies and thankfully, I am off today, so there are no pantyhose to rub against it.
All of that, along with big doses of patience and persistence--and an AMAZING Dodger win--will help me get through the next few days of gradually fading pain with the GREAT hope that one day it will completely disappear!

Oh, dear Julie, sorry about your pain. Oh those blisters look like burn wounds, if it hurts the same way it must be awful...
What is the history behind that tattoo? I bet it must have been a deep regret. I never ever wanted to get a tattoo, always though I would never inflict anything cosmetic on my body, not even any kind of surgery, unless it is for medical reasons. Have sometimes as young girl entertained the idea of a small tattoo on my ankle, but knew it would never become a reality.
Have a great week dear friend,
xoxo

Wow, that looks painful! I hope the Advil kicks in and you get to feeling better.

I too wonder about the history behind getting the tattoo and then why you've chosen to have it lasered off. I have 2 tats. Looking at yours, I hope I never decide to get rid of mine.

Thank you for your extremely kind message on my blog. I don't think I'm in the least bit creative. It's nice to know someone else seems to think I am though.
