Hi Julie: I must say, this is such a simple, yet important message to so many of us. I connected today by telephone with married friends of mine whom I have known for many years. And one of things I shared that we all took from our visit was that getting back to the basics of appreciating life's simplest pleasures is so key. I think that is what our friend Protege does so beautifully in the blog world.
Your blog too is unique because it carries a most identifiable sparkle that inspires others in circumstances we may never know or understand fully.
One lovely young lady who was at the end of her rope contacted me just this past Spring by e-mail and said, "I was feeling so down until a friend pointed me to a funny comment you made on your Blog that quite unexpectedly had me laughing for the first time in two months". Can you imagine? How lovely! I only wish I could have heard her laughter to celebrate!
Know that what you share is unique and valued by many at a time when the world is very complicated. A smile, a photo of others who appreciate you or an event, a moment of laughter or joy is really priceless. Keep on blogging, my friend! And enjoy your Sunday! :)
