Perspective

I was starting to write about my long day at work...and my even longer afternoon and evening of moving...how much stuff I had to move from one house to the other...three car loads of belongings...
Then, I saw this photo.
And read, "15,000 missing people."
I teared up.
I have nothing to complain about.
Crazy.

As I struggle with my own personal dilemma, I too see the larger picture when I read the news.
And I too feel like my problems resolve into nothing...

It's all about keeping things in perspective. Whenever a bad day shows up, it's best to remember that there will always be someone worse off than me. Yes, I know....easier said than done.

Great post cousin. I did the same thing the other day. When I was thinking about something that I was dealing with, I was jolted back by what I saw on yahoo. Pictures of Japan and a video of a dog that would not leave the side of his companion (another dog) that was not well. My issue seemed so small after that. I had a tear in my eye for those in the devastation in Japan and I said a prayer for them. Let's say my issue was long gone....for a while.

Totally agree. I read this morning that 18,000 death toll... Awful.
